About This Service

The Fatwa Department of Jamiatul Ulama South Africa provides Islamic rulings (Fatwas) on matters of Ibaadat, Muamalaat, family law, dietary matters and contemporary issues facing Muslims today.

All queries are answered by qualified Muftis trained in the traditional sciences of Islamic jurisprudence. Our responses are based on the Hanafi Madhab unless otherwise specified.

5–7 business days via email. Complex queries may take longer.
