Ḥanafī & Shāfi'ī Asr: Both times are displayed above. Asr (Shāfi'ī) begins when an object's shadow equals its own length. Asr (Ḥanafī) begins when the shadow equals twice the object's length — typically 45–60 min later. Times are calculated using the MWL method (Fajr 18°, Isha 17°) as used by SANHA and most South African Ulama bodies. Kindly verify with your local Masjid or Imām for the method followed in your area.
