Halaal Certification
Ensuring the Muslim community can consume food and products with full confidence in their Halaal status.
JUSA & the Halaal Industry
Jamiatul Ulama South Africa is a founding member and the principal Islamic authority behind the South African National Halaal Authority (SANHA). Our Ulama serve on the SANHA fatwa and technical committees, providing religious oversight for the Halaal certification process.
We also issue Halaal letters and certificates directly for specific categories of products and businesses under our own certification scheme, recognised by local and international bodies.
